Arch Vanilla

Arch Linux with Gnome
I am currently using Arch Linux with Gnome desktop. I consider it the best Linux for experienced/tech savvy users who want the latest software available in binary. In my experience reliability has been flawless and I have had no software updates break my system. I use Zen Linux with Wayland, mostly vanilla Gnome. I use keyboard shortcuts rather than menus. Dropbox, Mega, pCloud and rclone all run flawlessly for accessing cloud storage. I use Chaotic Aur to get extra packages because I don't like to wait for compiles. I've had zero problems with Chaotic Aur binary packages. I sync Android files with MEGA.

Best OS in world
Best OS in world. OpenBSD is nice but slower. UP to date binary packages and clean design. I am writing this with iceWM desktop on arch now.

Worth it
If you are willing to learn the resources and information are there for you to create your ideal Linux setup. More work than most, but worth it in the end. Better package manager and repos than other distros Ive used. Enjoy the rolling release model. It can be frustrating at first install, but once you tweak it how you prefer things you will learn a lot and have the perfect system for you.

A Linux distro that really does keep it simple
I have been running Arch Linux for 2 years and love it. Just some of the highlights include a rolling release model, an excellent package manger, the Arch User Repository (AUR) and ZFS support. Having to do everything manually has made me a much better Linux user. I cannot recommend Arch Linux enough.
