DNDi has created medical history for neglected patients, globally. Since 2003, we have developed 13 affordable treatments for 6 deadly diseases, saving millions of lives.
DNDi (Drugs for Neglected Diseases initiative) is a collaborative, patients’ needs-driven, non-profit drug research and development (R&D) organization. It was established in 2003 to develop new treatments for neglected diseases, particularly leishmaniasis, human African trypanosomiasis, Chagas disease, filarial infections, mycetoma, pediatric HIV, and hepatitis C. DNDi aims to deliver 16 to 18 new treatments by 2023 and ensure equitable access to these and other treatments for people in need.
