Do not ever go to this place. I went and got my car after 3 days of sitting. They are liars and scammers. Meanwhile I took my car to Mr. Tire told him what’s going on with that store. He pulled my vehicle in as soon as I got there !! They lied and said Silver Rock never reached out when I was in contact with them the whole time I knew on Tuesday at 1 PM my repairs would be covered besides the left front tire because they asked Pepboys several times to send them a video. So I called Silver Rock and let them know what they were saying and so conveniently After I talked to Silver Rock, Ray called and said at 6pm saying it was covered they just reached out. Then lied to me saying it’s being worked on But told Silver Rock they never even got the part. I clearly have proof of what Silver Rock is saying. It wouldn’t have been a problem if Pepboys’s communicated like Mr. tire did! All pep boys wants is your money they can’t even be honest and tell you the truth just say we didn’t get the part. They’re MAD that they could not get over on me. I have a husband father brothers and uncles. Pep boys preys on women and vulnerable people! It’s so convenient how silver rock called and now yall are working on the car but told silver rock it hasn’t even been touched ! Horrible customer service horrible mechanics i will never step foot in this business again. They thought I was stupid and would fall for the bs. They all stood around like the fools they are. What they don’t get it karma comes back around and they will get theirs ten fold! I don’t care how I came there REAL BUSINESS MEN WOULD RECTIFIED THE SITUATION. Josh at Mr. Tire helped me soooooo much ! Go to them if you want honesty respect and amazing customer service go there. He never asked for a dime ! Pepboys constantly told me oh you have to pay the diagnostic fee KNOWING silver rock is responsible. Ray told me Tuesday I can come get it but I’d have to pay that feel before I take the car. Mind you I recorded every single conversation even when I went to get my car. Try that lying scamming 💩 on a dummy ! Do not give these dirty clowns your money! (MONROEVILLE location)

Absolutely terrible service. Aggressive customer service with loud profanity and aggression. Definitely not easy to work with. Immediately went to another tire place to spend my $2000. Will never be back. I will make sure everyone that I come in contact know that this is not a place to get any work done

My issues have been going on with these…
My issues have been going on with these people for 3 1/2 months period. My car has been to three different Pep Boys. My check engine light is still on. They have done nothing but past the buck to include admitting the mechanic didn’t know what he was doing. The last time I took it back to have it checked. The young lady told me it would be two weeks before they could even look at it. And if there were 14 other Pep Boys, I could go to if I wanted to. The manager finally called me Jeremiah, who told me he would credit me back over $200 For the charges that they made and did not correct. I have not seen that credit on my bill yet. This is at the Pep Boys on Stateline Road in Southhaven Mississippi. I guess they learned my phone number because I got to where they would not answer my phone calls. They have done some good work and there are some nice people at these places. But this time they blew it and will not admit their mistakes. I did go to another store Pep Boys on Goodman Road in Southaven. That man’s name was Derek. He called a manager and told me I would be hearing from someone, but he passed me off as well. Not a very good place to do business, and won’t anymore.

It's been 4wks I purchased 4 tires on 1/24/25 and as of today, no tires.will not buy at pepboys fajardo again and would not recommend the store.

I really enjoyed services from other Pep Boy locations. The location off Rockfish in Fayetteville NC is the worse service I have received to date. The company I purchased the vehicle from was going to pay for the services since I just bought the vehicle. I was told the squealing was out if everyones control and the brakes were at 90%. I just got the brakes done at another company, and I needed brakes and rotors. That was 800$ I had to pay for a service that the company I purchased the vehicle from. I'm not sure what prompted the bad service, politics or just laziness, but I would not refer any person that cares about their vehicle to go there.

They wont warranty their own PEP BOYS BATTERY…
They wont warranty their own PEP BOYS Battery. It has a 3 year warranty (over the counter) that says D-23. The battery states on the actual battery that is was made in February of 2023 right on the battery and the piece of garbage is dead and they will not warrant their own battery. Called customer service and they only want bank information. Why would they need BANK information? That sounds like a scam if I ever heard of one. Manny Moe & Jack are turning in their graves. What has always been my go-to for the last 45 years is now another terrible has been company. This is the Kresges or Woolworth of Tire and Auto..Never heard of Kresges or Woolworth?? That's because their awful customer service caused them to go BANKRUPT. Pepe Boys will follow suit.

Oil changes, tire changes/installations only!
I'll preface this review by saying that I only use Pepboys for oil changes, tire rotations and tire installations (my rims are already scratched up lol) In my opinion, trusting any auto repair franchise for anything beyond that is really rolling the dice. Many of the techs don't have as much experience as I'd like. They also charge an arm and a leg; might as well take it to the stealership. I was quoted close to $1000 for brakes and rotors. I went to a mechanic and was charged $240 (I bought the parts) for the same job. I usually take my car to the Lodi, NJ location. They are never busy and I get in and out. I've also taken it to the Hasbrouck Heights and Hackensack locations, and they are generally super busy. I have waited for well over an hour. Pepboys has frequent deals for coupons and tires, which I like. They don't try to pressure me to make a bunch of repairs, and I like that. I've never had any issues with any of the work I've had done.

Specifically for Clermont FL Sunrise Rd location. New owners over the years recently I think. Things changed. Just verified what I thought. SCAM. Gave me $1300 estimate for fishy stuff. Went next door to Dee Reliable nothing wrong with brakes, rotors, NOTHING.. Ceramic breaks squeak a bit normally. And did not need all those other repairs. Just got new brakes 6 months ago from Pep.and they were trying to replace one of those too. Beenna good 15 YEARS with old owners but sometimes good things END I guess. I'm a guy too .. what do they do to women??

This store is basically just a front. They will charge you more than elsewhere, upsell you to work that you don’t actually need done. Then they may or may not do said work (you can only find out if you go for an inspection of it elsewhere) and make it impossible for you to claim any refunds. I don’t trust a word they say and neither should you

DO NOT TAKE YOUR VEHICLE HERE IF YOU…
DO NOT TAKE YOUR VEHICLE HERE IF YOU CARE ABOUT YOUR RIMS OR CUSTOMER SERVICE. I took my Genesis here today for tire replacement. I took pictures of all 4 of my rims when drooping the vehicle off. Fast forward to when I go get it. 3 of the rims was scratched I immediately ask the manager to walk outside and take a look and before he got up he said we didn't to it. He was very augmentative. I asked him to show me the damage in my pictures of where the damage is now. He could not do it. Bottom line they do not care about protecting your vehicle during service nor do they care about you as a customer. I would stay clear of Pep Boys. I asked for the DM number but I have since found out that the manager and district manager are good friends. Very upset about this! I take very good care of my vehicle and you put trust in someone to take care of your property and they damage it, take no ownership and treat you like crap. Pep Boys located in Auburn AL

I was suppose to get an oil change and my tires switched around only to find out the next they didn’t even put enough oil that was suppose to go in my jeep. They never switched my tires. t waited for 2hrs and they charged me $95.03 for nothing. I advise know one to go to them!!!!! I must say I called the corporate office and was refunded

Absolutely the WORST company I’ve ever dealt with in my 49 years!
I purchased tires online and had them delivered to my local Pep Boys. Unfortunately, I mistakenly ordered the wrong size, so I immediately returned them. My local Pep Boys told me they would keep the tires, but I needed to call the main Pep Boys number to get a refund. I did exactly that as soon as I left the store, and they assured me I would be refunded. It has now been TWO MONTHS since I purchased those tires, and I still have not received my refund. I’ve called at least six or seven times, and every time, I’m told the same nonsense: My case has been "escalated" They’ve assigned a case number Someone will call me back (spoiler: no one ever does) They repeatedly transfer me to the so-called regional director—the only person who can supposedly handle my refund—but it always goes straight to voicemail. I leave messages, and still, no one calls me back. This "regional director" is clearly beyond incompetent and should be immediately fired. The lack of professionalism, accountability, and basic customer service at Pep Boys is staggering. I am now paying interest on tires I don’t even have because Pep Boys has failed to issue the refund I was promised. I’ve had to file a discrepancy with my credit card company, and my next step will be contacting a lawyer to seek compensation for the stress and financial burden this has caused me. Pep Boys, this is absolutely unacceptable. FIX THIS NOW.

Horrible experience
Horrible experience. Here at Beverly, NJ. Brought my car in today. Explained that to them that I replaced the O2 sensor yesterday but the car started misfiring, so i put back the old O2 sensor and I brought the car to them. They said no problem we will take care of it. After finishing the work on the car and about to pay 611$ i asked them if i can try the car before paying. They said no. You have to pay first. But if the check engine light comes back and the car starts misfiring, just bring it back and we will fix it. I paid and drove off. 15 minutes later, the engine light came back off and the car started misfiring, drove right back to PepBoys and told them what’s going on. They said we can’t look at it right now. I said can you at least put the old O2 sensor back and refund me the money, they said they can’t because the work is already completed. I called my bank to dispute the transaction right away and now i am still waiting. When i went back inside and told them that I called my bank, they said okay. Have a good day. Dante the representative there was no help at all and just wants to charge you money for uncompleted job. Stay away from that Pepboys
