    I’ve ordered pet food twice from this

    I’ve ordered pet food twice from this company. Twice I’ve had issues with delivery from DPD, who were instructed by this company to deliver. Yes the company have sorted the delivery issue out, but if they continue to use DPD I will not be shopping with them again.

    I do not appreciate e-mails wishing my cat a "Happy Birthday! we sadly lost him at a very young age and receiving these sort of e-mails after 3 years! I find very upsetting and offensive, they should not send e-mails to a past customer assuming their pet is still alive! I won't use this company again on principal, if I want any products I will contact the company myself! this e-mail received today has brought back very upsetting memories!

    We have used Petdrugsonline since the start of our dogs illness, for value and service, outstanding.There was an issue, which was resolved with efficiency and good grace, and we continue to use their excellent service, and 5 stars are well deserved.

    Unforgivable

    Horrible service, useless customer service and caused us to lose a member of our family. Our dog had an infection and we are a poor family so we trusted your company to provide the necessary medication for her. We paid for 1 or 2-day delivery and after a full week with constant emails and calls to your useless customer service we went back to the vets to scrape enough money together for the medication from them. after 1 more week on the medication we found it was too little too late. she died on the 15th of may at 4:30 am from the infection. she suffered that entire night and all the awful customer service could do was apologise for the delay. the medicine eventually arrived 3 days after she died. My family will never forgive or trust pet drugs online again and will be sure to spread this to anyone who will listen

    Great service but a concern

    I ordered insulin for my dog, it was much cheaper than buying from the vet and it arrived the following day which was brilliant. My only concern is that although it was packed in a box with a chill pack, it’s 20° today and it had been in the DPD van all day until it was delivered at 4.10pm. Maybe some kind of polystyrene packaging along with the pack might be better.

    Placed a prescription for Apoquel 5.4mg x 60 with you on Tuesday 10/5/22 and status was still showing as “processing” on the Friday. This is my first order with you and I became concerned that Brea would run out of her daily medication on Sunday. I paid for Royal Mail first class delivery but as today is Friday and you do not work weekends I was concerned as to when the prescription would be received.In fact the medication was received on the Tuesday having been dispatched on the Monday - as expected Brea ran out on the Sunday.There would appear to be turnaround time issues which are not helped by a Monday to Friday office hours only operation. As a now retired NHS Scientist and Quality Manager I was used to a never closed service 24-7-365 approach!I note that there have been a few other negative reviews of late expressing similar concerns, and as Brea, following an annual review, is due a repeat prescription towards the end of July I will be monitoring, with respect to TATs, whether to use you or an alternative supplier especially as I will be submitting a repeat prescription rather than what was a one off.

    Terrible communication

    When I ordered my pets medication, I uploaded a photograph image of the prescription. 2 days later, I was informed that no prescription had been received so I had to resend it. This order was placed on the 25th May.With no sign of the medication and in the absence of any communication, I emailed the company on Sunday 3rd June. I received an email on Monday stating that my order did not correspond to the prescription and that they were awaiting a response before they could progress with the order. I received no such email. On Monday I emailed again confirming the order. 2 days later, I received the same email stating that they were still awaiting my response. As my pet is now running dangerously low on this important medication, I phoned the company today. After leaving a message, I was phoned back and told that they don’t have this product in stock.The whole process has been extremely stressful and a complete waste of time. I will never use the company again.

    Royal Canin S/O works!!

    Ordered Royal Canin Urinary S/O to dissolve a stone in my small 11year old King Charles Cavalier. The vets recommended Hills from their experience but it was unavailable at the time. This food has dissolved her stone entirely in less than 6 months, which has saved her enduring intrusive surgery and a £450+ bill for us. Food arrived promptly and will continue to order from Pet Drugs Online. Now on Royal Canin Maintenance for this. Thank you!!

    No Medication, no Contact but they Keep the Money

    (Updated - Pet Drugs Online, I stated quite clearly how many tablets the prescription was for and how many times it could be used. Your reply is therefore more of the same nonsense I got when I phoned you.)Thanks to these cowboys we are now short on medication for the dog and until they refund me (because they think it's fine to keep the goods and the money) for the order they weren't going to send I cannot afford to go elsewhere. I've told them to close my account as they are worse than useless. If your pet needs medication I strongly recommend going elsewhere. If you want more here's the story...I've ordered from them in the past (with a prescription) without any problems. I've previously used the same prescription twice (with 'is repeatable' written on it) without issue.On the 16th May I placed a second order using an 'is repeatable' prescription. The prescription is valid for 6 months, is for 90 one a day tablets, therefore it can be used twice.I hear nothing, but I'm not concerned as they have been a bit slow in the past. After 10 days I still haven't had any contact so I check the website, my order is shown as 'pending' but there is no indication why. So I ring them, then the nonsense starts. They claimed to have e-mailed me two days after I placed the order. No e-mail was received. They now have a problem with the prescription because it can't be used twice. Why? It's in exactly the same format as the previous prescription I used twice.I never got a satisfactory answer to this question, but they promised to check and contact me. They rung me just over an hour later and informed me that I couldn't use the 'is repeatable' prescription twice. That's despite the fact that they have previously accepted 'is repeatable' prescriptions twice without comment.It's at this point they offer to issue a refund. Now I am furious, if they weren't going to send the goods and they knew that over a week ago why didn't they refund the money then? Again no satisfactory answer is forthcoming only some pathetic excuses from the disinterested employee.I'm not rich, I can't afford to have companies just hang on to nearly £100 for a week and a half for something they've no intention of sending.I've told them to close my account and delete my records. Under 'Data Protection Right to Erasure' rules they have a month to delete the data, delete any data they've shared with third parties (which they shouldn't have) and contact me to tell me they've done it. I'm not holding my breath.

    First class customer service. The order was left at the wrong house then went missing. No fault of Pet drugs online, but they tracked, traced and had the order redelivered within a couple of days of my contacting them. Would recommend this company to everyone, and the prices are great too

    customer contact awful,leaving your customers on the phone 25 minutes before you answer the phone disgusting,3 times in a row you did this to me,i got sick to death of sending a picture of my prescription,fax,e mail,then you telling me it hasnt come through,you will have to post it,no i wont you need to sort your online system out and staff,when i faxed it i was told oh i can not see that i will have to look into it,that is because it was faxed to the office and you are sat at home,my fax machine said all went through perfectly, you said it did not come through.i used another online company no problem straight away it was sorted out.

    Fabulous customer service

    I’ve used this company many times over the years as they provide a really good service, are very prompt and are truly competitive on price. However, I was prompted to write this recommendation following a much appreciated event.Having got a prescription of our vet, I bought 6 months supply of heart tablets for our ageing Cavalier King Charles, Honey. Unfortunately, Honey died unexpectedly and just before my previous batch of tablets ran out. I then had no use for the new batch and enquired if it was possible to return them. PDO were very understanding & sympathetic. No problem was the immediate response
