Podium is not a software company, podium are thieves. we closed the account, they offered us 2 months free. they kept charging us. it is almost 6 months now and they keep charging us. I have all the conversations and emails. I will report you to ACCC or the relevant Government responsible for such a scam.

My experience with this company was a complete disaster, and I strongly advise against signing any contract with them. They will lock you into a 12-month commitment, so please, DO NOT SIGN UP. Their service is terrible, and they will send you to collections immediately. I initially signed a one-year contract, but they automatically renewed me for another year without my consent, which is incredibly frustrating. I remember being told that after the first year, I could switch to a month-to-month plan, but now they are refusing that option and sending me to collections instead. This is the options they are giving me to cancel me or to break the contract ( supposedly contract ) - A legal document stating you have closed your business - A screenshot of your Google Page marked as permanently closed * I personally don’t think I’m supposed to do any of this Save yourself the headache and choose a reputable company that truly delivers on its promises. I was being constantly harassed by…
I was being constantly harassed by Connor O'Brien with Podium to sign up with several promises that were not fulfilled. The texting was supposed to be from our phone number not random texting number that were used with House Call Pro. House Call Pro texts customers from random numbers. I was told that with Podium the customer will only see your business phone number. I have scheduled appointments for myself and it is not our 602-971-0567 phone number that comes up. I was promised to get back credits for the time that I was not using AI. I was pressured into adding it that it is the next thing coming and everyone is using it. I did and then I did not do the onboarding for awhile as I am busy running a business. Now the salesman is no longer with the company and they are having problems verifying that I was not using the AI. AI told a customer that was leaving cold water in the refrigerator for a technician that sorry we do not work on refrigerators. When customers say thank you after they receive their reminder the AI say I will have to check with my dispatcher. And when someone says they are running late AI says I will let the technician know. But Podium does not let anyone know. I need back my credits for INV-612526 $543.00 April 30, 2024 INV-628914 $543.00 May 30, 2024 INV-651375 $543.00 June 30, 2024 INV-686382 $543.00 July 30, 2024 Then I was hit with a $80.00 increase that no one told me about. INV-706719 $80.00 + tax August 30. 2024 INV-729124 $80.00 + tax September 30, 2024 INV-749098 $80.00 + tax October 30, 2024 INV-771895 $80.00 + tax November 30, 2024 INV-? I do not have $80.00 + tax December 30, 2024 INV-? I do not have $80.00 + tax January 30, 2024 $2732.00 + taxes from the increase. Not to mention that they do not give you the invoice they have billed you for. I had to ask for them in December and found that they charged an extra $80.00 a month. I need my credits back to my credit card and cancel Podium.

We were lured in with promises of specific functionality – departmental separation of text messages – for a 12-month commitment. It quickly became clear that the platform didn't deliver on this core feature. Even their own salesperson admitted to misrepresenting the product, citing their inexperience and assuring us we could cancel and only pay for our usage. This assurance proved to be a blatant falsehood. When we rightfully canceled due to the platform's inadequacy, they sent us straight to collections. This is not just poor service; it's a demonstration of deeply unethical business practices. Don't make the same mistake we did. We've since switched to Kenect and found it to be a vastly superior solution. Kenect offers a wider range of features, significantly better support, and at a fraction of the cost. Save yourself the headache and choose a reputable company that delivers on its promises."

Terrible Account Management
Some decent features- but is easily replaceable by better platforms. Terrible account management- we had multiple "managers" servicing our account in just over 18 months. Trying to reach them is impossible, and you have to schedule a call to even talk to them- I couldn't get a time slot for 1.5 weeks! Then, be careful of the auto renewing contract. They will not let you out of it even if you are dissatisfied using the product or no longer need it. DO NOT SIGN this.

Disappointing Experience – Avoid This Company! I deeply regret choosing Podium for my business needs. Their failure to meet their obligations have made this experience extremely frustrating. Misleading Compensation Offer: A sales representative promised two gift card to compensate for a pricing of setup and one month free, but I never received them. Phone service is not everything they promised. Many features do not work. One year contract that auto renews. I'm sure its going to take lawyers to end the contract. Strongly advise others to avoid this company.

Extremely Disappointing Experience – Avoid This Company!
I strongly regret doing business with Podium. Their lack of professionalism and failure to uphold their commitments have made this experience incredibly frustrating. Unfulfilled Promises – My main request was for consumer-facing elements to be available in French. They had three months to implement this, yet nothing was done. Misleading Compensation Offer – A salesperson promised compensation in the form of a gift card to offset a pricing difference, but I never received it. Ignored Requests – I asked for a two-month trial extension so they could resolve these issues, but they never responded. Unauthorized Charges – Despite a clear three-month trial period in our contract, they charged a fourth payment to my credit card without my consent.

This company is completely fraudulent. I ordered a website, but as soon as they received the payment, they kept me waiting for a month with various excuses and pointless questions. By the time I was able to file a dispute with my bank, they had stopped answering my calls and emails altogether. This company is a scam. If you don't believe me, go ahead and try them.

Absolute waste of time and money
Hands down the worst company to communicate with! My average response takes 2 or normally 3 days. The app and website is constantly clinching and full of bugs. The sales team gives you promises of growing your business and saving you time. In my case this wasn't true at all. I'd recommend going elsewhere or really doing your research before being stuck in a contract with Podium!!!
