Front Page - The Heritage Alliance

The Heritage Alliance is England's national umbrella body for heritage. We unite over 200 independent heritage organisations, ranging from large institutions to specialist charities, local museums, and community initiatives. Between them, our members represent over 8 million volunteers, trustees, and staff. Our vision is for a society in which our historic environment and cultural heritage are valued, supported, and able to enrich everyone’s lives.

The Heritage Alliance is a coalition of heritage organizations in the UK, representing the independent heritage sector. It works to promote the value of heritage to the government and the public, and to support its members in their work. The Alliance provides a unified voice for the sector, advocating for policies that protect and enhance the UK's heritage.
