    very unreliable

    very unreliable, devices go missing in the console so very dangerous to use when managing at scale. Scripts are unreliable and the support gradually gets worse as years go by. The account managers are impossible to get hold of and the web dashboard gets worse with each iteration. AVOID AVOID AVOID!!

    Its just a freaking mess. The slide continues.

    Been with Atera since the start but this year I'm this |-| close to leaving, they currently have an offer on for annual subscription but I've not signed up to it despite the large discount as I'm so close to jumping ship to another provider. My main complaint recently is the lack of contrast over object types in all the redesigned screens. It's becoming a sea of white with texted dumped on the screen. There is no boxes around objects to indicate what they are and no division of anything. They seem to have forgot Atera is a tool and tools have home where they live so you know where to find them. But there is a catalogue of issues like that, that make day to day operation of Atera a nightmare. I originally thought it was me just being picky but I've had a few others recently start using Atera with me and they have also found issue after issue with basic UI items that make us all just go "WHY??!!" And let's not get started on the AI crud that's been shoehorned in recently. You can tell they have VC money now, every buzz word needs actioned NOW but not the basics.

    This is an Israeli company that seems to be politically involved as they ban their services in the countries that Israel or US puts on sanction lists. They literally block these countries so if you sign up for the service in another country of your residence, but then travel they just ban all IP addresses of the countries on the saction list. Their response to my query about the above: "Upon checking further on this matter, Atera may not allow access to Lebanon due to Israel 1939 act of terror law and this is also one of three investors of the company itself."

I have been using Atera for over a year and I am very satisfied with its features and performance. Atera allows me to monitor and manage multiple clients from a single dashboard, as well as automate tasks such as patching, backup, and reporting. Atera also has a built-in helpdesk system that integrates with email and chat, making it easy to communicate with customers and resolve issues. Atera is very affordable and scalable, as it charges per technician rather than per device. This means I can add more devices without increasing the cost.

    two steps forwards, one step back.

    I've used Atera pretty much since it was started and its good however when we get improvements its always at the expensive of something else. I just wish they would work on the UI and I don't want changes I just want things to be setup more for work flow and easy of use instead of looking fancy. As an example of this, pasted text in ticket responses. Since the first day I used the system I pointed out pasted text has a background colour in it that you cannot see on 99% of monitors so can you please either remove the background colour or make the colour more obvious as some client when they receive the message make this contract very obvious. It's 100% a bug that would take very little to address but after 5 years I've just stopped asking and then list of these annoyances is enough that as its day to day items I'm frustrated to the point of reviewing competition products!!

    Great RMM solution for an incredible…

    Great RMM solution for an incredible price. Atera is an excellent monitoring and management tool that provides almost all the functionality that its expensive competition does, for a fraction of the price. We moved from Datto to Atera earlier this year, drastically cutting costs without compromising management capabilities. The addition of a free version of Splashtop has also helped us out of some tough situations where Teamviewer has failed to work. The features are constantly being updated with new, handy additions that are released and documented monthly.

    Simply Amazing!

    After moving through several different RMM & PSA solutions in such a short period of time Atera has been like breath of fresh air. It is very powerful, easy to navigate and has an amazing user interface. Furthermore the staff and customer service are simply amazing. Thank you Atera!

    Great RMM solution

    Atera really delivers value for the price. This software has allow my small IT support business to compete with larger companies in the RMM market. It's obvious that Atera has a passion to constantly improve their product and they have a real interest in customer satisfaction.

    Glad I switched to Atera...

    Nice folks... a smaller and newer RMM solution. I like their pricing model (one price for all you can eat) and that they include a remote access solution (Splashtop). It's missing a few bells and whistles that my previous RMM solution had but they seem to be constantly working on improvements and are making an effort. I will take an improving company that is trying over one that is tired and apathetic anytime. My biggest gripe is their support is only via chat. Slower and sometimes not a good way to get things fixed. Overall, I'm glad I switched to Atera.
