Good at dealing with issues.
I have ordered many items online and I find them one of the best for quality, value for money and customer service. I was informed by them in an email that my heated airer had been recalled after 2 years of use and they made the process very easy. I have been unlucky as after 5 months of use of my Carmen heated blanket it developed a fault and Dunelm again have dealt with this efficiently. I think that is the test, how a company deals with problems.

The made to measure roller blind puller cord kept on coming apart at the plastic joining clip, very flimsy. Luckily I kept the puller cord from my old roller blind so used that instead.

Bedford store I approached a staff member for assistance (a large woman wearing a denim skirt with piercings), and was immediately met with a sigh, as if I was inconveniencing her by asking for help. There was a noticeable lack of enthusiasm or professionalism in her tone. When I inquired about a specific item, she simply directed me to the website, saying they didn’t have it in store. I then asked where on the website it stated this, and only then did she change her mind and lead me to the item. It would have been much easier and more helpful if she had simply taken me to the product—or at least the section it would have been in—right from the beginning. A little effort and courtesy goes a long way in customer service, and unfortunately, I experienced none of that today. I left feeling very disappointed and won’t be returning to this store. This staff member clearly needs further training in how to communicate with customers and provide a more welcoming experience.

Bought an electric throw in store in October and it broke within 6 months. The customer service number have said they can only deal with online orders and we need to take it back to the store we bought it from. Unfortunately that site is approx 90 miles from us as we were away from home at the time! Shocking that a national chain can't deal with these things and I'll think twice before buying anything from a store that's not local now.
