    Bad business policy

I read many of the reviews by other people, most of which are negative. I believe these people. I attempted to purchase a ticket online, with no success. What is their problem? Their prices are outrageous, even for NYC. Then, the process is made difficult, for absolutely no reason. If they're trying to push customers away, they succeeded. They'll never get any business from me, ever

I had become a Regal Crown Club member…

I had become a Regal Crown Club member back in 2022 and stopped the subscription a about 6 months later. In spite of their email from membership division saying it was cancelled I got billed monthly for about a year! The credit card only allows disputes for 2 months back. I lost a lot of money because of this inefficiency. Do not sign up for membership; you may be billed years later regardless of your discontinued subscription!

Lying customer service and stealing money

They charged me twice for a gift card, 180 total, and never gave me the product! I called, emailed and did the chat and they hung up on me and lied to me repeatedly. Fraudulent company.

    Regal theater three month pass.

I bought a Groupon Regal theater three month pass. I live in Peoria, Illinois. Groupon and Regal advertised that there was a Regal theater near me. The nearest Regal theater is over 100 miles away from me. Groupon told me the deal is nontransferable and nonrefundable. I believe I am a victim of false advertising. I can't use the deal.

Regal must be throwing away $14 million/year in lost concessions sales

I wonder if Regal Cinemas has commissioned any research into how much money they lose every day from not accepting ApplePay/touchless pay at their concessions? They must be pretty flush with cash if they're willing to turn away thousands of people every day who bought their tickets online and didn't bring their card with them, who otherwise would be spending $40 on concessions that cost them $1.40 to produce. Not to mention the disappointment they cause people and their families. How much do you think they're losing? $40,000 a day? $14 million a year? More? And how much in repeat business when people choose a nearby AMC theater on the next trip?

My wife and I went to a 4pm showing of…

My wife and I went to a 4pm showing of Wicked (our 1st movie theatre outing in over 10 years, btw) at the Vineland NJ Regal cinema at the Cumberland Mall. The theatre was literally empty (8 people in a ~200 seat theatre). It was freezing cold in the theatre for the entire 3+ hours we sat there. When I went to the refreshments stand to ask if they could turn the heat on, I was told that there was nothing that they could do. We had to stay huddled underneath a small emergency travel blanket (that my wife had thankfully brought with us). What could have been an enjoyable movie experience (the 2 hr. 40 minute movie was actually pretty good) was extremely dampened by the freezing cold theatre. Hey Regal, please don't offer showtimes in an unheated theatre. That was the first time we have actually gone to a movie theatre in 10 years. We'll stay home and stream on our big screen tv from now on. Thanks Regal. :(

    Poor customer service

Hello, I purchased movie tickets October 19 for a movie that I was unable to go to. I was told that I could exchange the tickets when I purchased new tickets. I have purchased new tickets however, it is not for the same movie. The original movie was the Joker movie and it was playing in the evening . The new movie is wicked and it will be playing in the afternoon. I was told if I were to purchase tickets and send a copy of the receipt that I would be reimbursed. They have now told me that it had to be for the same movie. That movie is no longer playing in any of the theater. This is very upsetting to me as I have gone to hundreds of movies in the last several years. This is unacceptable customer service. Especially considering I paid more money for the original tickets than I have for the newer tickets. Very disappointing.

Terrible Party Experience – Would Not Recommend

I recently booked a birthday party service for my daughter, and it turned out to be a complete disaster. The level of service was extremely disappointing and far below acceptable standards. Firstly, the designated "helper" for the party was nowhere to be found throughout the event. I had to repeatedly search for staff members at the entrance or food station for assistance, as there was no one to greet or guide my guests. I ended up managing everything on my own, from welcoming guests to directing them to the auditorium. To make matters worse, the snacks were delayed, and the pizzas arrived very late, leaving us scrambling for refreshments. The so-called "helper" was not helpful at all—they didn’t even offer basic assistance, such as serving drinks or suggesting where to get them. When I realized I had forgotten to bring a knife to cut the cake, I asked the staff for help. The manager was called, but her response was dismissive and rude. Instead of finding a solution, she coldly pointed out that I had signed an agreement stating I was responsible for bringing a knife. Her lack of empathy and unprofessional attitude were shocking. What was supposed to be a happy celebration turned into a stressful and frustrating experience, not only for me but also for my guests, who were clearly disappointed. When I raised these concerns with the manager, she brushed them off and offered nothing more than a discount on three pizzas, which did nothing to make up for the poor service. Overall, this was one of the worst experiences I've had with any event service, and I would not recommend it to anyone. The staff’s incompetence and indifference completely ruined what was supposed to be a special day for my daughter. For the price I paid, I expected far better service.
