Its getting more expensive by the day
Its getting more expensive by the day. I downgraded to the most basic version. After using it only a couple of times the limit is reached and I need to upgrade to a higher plan. I have been using ahrefs for many years at some point I was paying more then 1000 euro per month. A loyal customer that only used ahrefs limited. I am done with Ahrefs i am sure there are other options available.

I subscribed to their starter plan, worse thing is they won't tell you what credit I've consumed i.e. you have no idea when it will run out. Very scummy behavior. Edit: The icon is still hidden. It takes no effort to make it visible. Very scummy.

Overpriced & Inaccurate sometimes
Ahrefs is great for niche research and for domain rating, but when it comes to traffic and keyword research, the estimates can be quite off, making the process frustrating and confusing. Plus, their pricing is pretty high for what they offer, and I’m not sure it’s really worth it.

Traffic estimates are insanely wrong for website research. By insanely wrong I mean it's estimating 8k traffic a month for sites getting 150k. That's almost 20 times off lol. Don't waste your money on this.

Greedy company and the Credit system is severely flawed
I've been using Ahrefs for a while, but recently had an issue where my crawl credits were unexpectedly interrupted even though I still had credits left. This shouldn't have happened, and there was no clear reason or warning before it stopped working. It disrupted my workflow and made it harder to diagnose site issues. For a premium tool, I expect more reliability in how credits are handled. Hoping they fix this.

My Favorite SEO tool
Ahrefs is my favorite SEO tool. But its price is so high. Not possible to renew every month. You guys add a free version with limited features. So everyone benefits from that.

Best SEO tool with BIG BUT
The best SEO tool out there .. no matter, most accurate data .. yet, they keep growing the prices and limit the available features based on the subscription plans .. I'd say not fair enough, as anyways they have a huge user list, so this simply reduces it.

The credit system sucks
The credit system sucks, they charge $0.5 per SQL query, it's completely crazy and unacceptable, you can't really use it, it makes no sense to charge a monthly subscription and then put in a credit system that under normal use would last less than 2 hours, it's absurd.

Les prix montent la qualité baisse
Je suis avec Ahrefs depuis plusieurs années. J'étais globalement satisfait mais j'avoue que les volumes de trafic partagé sont trop loin de la réalité que je sais de mes GA4. Les prix ont beaucoup augmenté, par chance je reste au tarif 2022, mais je voulais essayer des services supplémentaires et auquel cas je prends une augmentation monstre. En comparaison le travaille aussi avec SERanking, meilleur support client et prix moins prohibitifs. Je me donne quelques mois pour choisir

I am using ahrefs for some months now
I am using ahrefs for some months now. Not the best, but also not the worst. What i would improve is the toxic backlinks filter, so you can find them faster. The recent update is buggy, and does not always show me the seo details of the page, even though it has everything. I hope they fix it with the upcoming updates.

Great backlink analyzer, very simple to use. I also like website authority checker, it helps me to find reliable donors for my linkbuilding strategy. The price could be cheaper though :(

Its a good tool for SEO but very expensive. However, I like the free tools. Just maximise tools available out there if its not a big project.

Fake Unlimited Plan
Ahrefs is pretending thet have added an unlimited plan, but I just got restricted for "unfair usage", I work alone, no agency, no api, if you have any of those, forget about ahrefs. Customer support claimed "the process is fully automated so they do not have any control over it ", but magically, when I told them I am about to issue a chargeback, she find a way to make "adjustments" and unblock it right away. Customer service lied the exact same way, Ahrefs is lying on their pricing page, they have just replace the 500 credits + 50$ for additionnal 500 with a so called unlimited plan, but if you reach 1000 credits (more or less) you get blocked for "unfair usage". This is no surprise they have the worst ratings on all seo tools, this is because they are the most dishonest of all and the most greedy, I am canceling my account and not coming back this time.
