I was lured to their web site by a…
I was lured to their web site by a promise of 4 free tickets to “The Best Christmas Pageant Ever”. Even though their fees are higher than the theater, the 4 free tickets would more than make up the difference. I logged into my existing account (I had used them once earlier this year) and placed the order for 7 tickets. They told me the code for the free tickets had expired. The email they sent me stated the offer was good to 12/8. I wasn’t happy but proceeded with the full price purchase anyhow. Within minutes of placing the order, I realized I ordered tickets for the right showing time but the wrong day (I wanted Sunday, the tickets were for Saturday). I tried to change this but there is no customer support phone number. They make you cancel the order and place a new order but keep the service fee, ($15.33). It’s not like days later I decided not to go to the movie. I made a mistake and wanted to correct the mistake within minutes of placing an order! Nope, you must be punished and pay the $15.33. So I followed their instructions. I proceeded with the cancellation and then tried to purchase the tickets for the correct date. I got all the way to the payment page and they stated that my payment was blocked by their “credit card processor” (!?!) and that I should try a different payment method. I tried another credit card . . . same error message. So I have NO free tickets, I ordered 7 tickets but I end up with NO tickets at all and a bill for $15.33. There is no phone number. There is no customer service email link. They just screw you and get away with it. I've since bought the tickets directly from RegalMovies for less fees without any problems.

Atom reneged on my free tickets!
The website emailed me an invite (for 2) to see Megalopolis for free. I was instructed to use the promo code "MEGAFREEATOM" to secure the tickets in advance. I followed the instructions and at the end of the transaction, the message said the tics would be sent to me. One week before the movie opening I received nothing in the U.S. mail or email. So I contacted Atom's customer service and told them the problem. I even sent the instructions I was sent. Instead of flagging this as a problem/ reporting my issue to a supervisor/glitch in their system/ someone sent me back the instructions I used in the first place! Overlooking the fact that the deadline to get tickets had passed! Do you know they reneged on giving me my free tickets? Bullocks! %*&!#$@

Total scam
Total scam. Website promises ‘worry free cancellations’ but won’t actually give you a refund if you need it.

Stay AWAY!!
I ordered 2 tickets, cancelled them and opted for ATOM CASH. I re-ordered 2 more tickets for a different day, using this cash. BUT I was still charged $22.38 for the 2 new tickets I purchased, + $3.58 additional! They said I used it, but it was never credited to my new tickets. WHAT A RIPOFF! Cannot get a live person on the phone, either, just useless CHAT. I spent 2.5 hrs trying to straighten this out.

App and experience were terrible!
We tried to order tickets for the T Mobile Tuesday promotion. App was super glitchy. It would reserve seats and then not process the order so that when you restarted the order those seats were reserved and my husband and I wound up having to reserve seats in front of each other then after we were finally able to successfully "buy" it said order was pending even though movie started in 30 minutes. We wound up having to get on chat because there is no phone support and cancel and miss the entire movie.

THEY HAVE NEVER EMAILED ME BACK TO GET A QRC CODE AND I HAVE ASKED 3 TIMES IN 3 DAYS!!! NOW ATOM SAYS I HAVE NO TICKETS TO CANCEL!!! So i emailed them I WANT A REFUND AND THEY BETTER GIVE IT TO ME!!! THIS IS EFFING RIDICULOUS!!! NEVER SIGN UP WITH THEM AND GIVE THEM YOUR MONEY.. CONVENIENCE FEE??? THAT'S A LAUGH I AM A SR. Was Better, Now It's Just Ok.
I remember in 2019 where I had a free ticket (Yes, they used to give you free tickets after paying for 5!), that would expire before a movie I wanted to see had showtimes -- They worked with me to ensure it wouldn't expire. Now, Atom Tickets is...fine. I emailed about 12 hours before a showtime in 2022 asking if they could move a seat. Now, if this was a big movie, I could understand a "No, sorry", but when the email came in, 20 minutes before showtime, it was a "no" -- The entire viewing population was me and 2 other people, and I wasn't taking one of their seats. They're probably staffed by all of 20 people, and handle operations across the country, so I get it. This week, I email a question and I'm still chilling, waiting (But, to be fair, it was a complicated question, and there's plenty of time before showtime). I'm not even annoyed at the fact that we don't have free tickets anymore; Economies change. The app is nice and I can check times, pick a seat, and balk at the "Convenience Fee" before exiting out, because, as you can see, the convenience fee isn't actually helping anyone to make adjustments. The only reason I still use it is because T-Mobile gives us 5$ codes on occasion.
